Jaylen Jamar was born on August 13, 2009 and passed away at Texas Children’s Hospital on August 18, 2013. He had early onset signs of Propionic Acidemia. At three days old he stopped eating and became lethargic. His metabolic team at Texas Children’s was always there when we needed them. He was hospitalized almost every month and the last year he had recurring pancreatitis. He fought a long fight and he will always be our HERO. The only comfort we have now is that he is no longer suffering and is resting peacefully.
There is a place in my heart that is yours alone, A part of my life that only you can own. The tears in my eyes I can wipe away, But the love in my heart will always stay.
